GENERAL STATEMENT

Innoventum Oy, as operator of the visualpaths.eu website under the Erasmus+ funded VISUAL PATHS project, respects your rights to privacy, and will not collect any personal information about you on this website without your clear permission. Any personal information which you volunteer will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with the The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Visualpaths.eu or the Visual Paths Mobile App do not collect any personal data about you, apart from information you volunteer (for example by emailing us or registering your interest in the project). Any information which you provide in this way is not made available to any third parties and is used by visualpaths.eu and the VISUAL PATHS project only in line with the purpose for which you provided it.

COLLECTION AND USE OF TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Technical details in connection with visits to this website are logged for our statistical purposes. No information is collected that could be used by us to identify website visitors. The technical details logged are confined to the following items:

  • the IP address of the visitors web server
  • the top level domain name used (for example .ie, .com, .org, .net)
  • the previous website address from which the visitors reached us, including any search items used
  • clickstream data which shows the traffic of visitors around this website (for example pages accessed and documents downloaded)
  • any searches executed while on our website

Visualpaths.eu makes no attempt to identify individual visitors, or to associate the technical details listed above with any individual without their consent. It is the policy of tthe operator never to disclose such technical information in respect of individual website visitors to any third party unless obliged to disclose such information by a rule of law. The technical information will be used only by VISUAL PATHS project and only for statistical and other administrative purposes. You should note that technical details, which we cannot associate with any identifiable individual, do not constitute “personal data” for the purposes of the GDPR.

COLLECTION AND USE OF USER INFORMATION

Accessing some of features on this website require you to create an account and be logged in with it; the Online learning platform stores information about the user progress on the courses, the discussion forum relates messages to identified users and so on. When you register an account, the following information is stored to it:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Country
  • Preferred default language selection
  • User picture (optional)
  • This information is saved in a secure database and is not given or sold forward to third parties.
  • If you have created a user account and wish to remove your information, please contact us.

Visual Paths APP

The Visual Paths Mobile Application is designed to function as a learning support and tutoring tool. To register an account, you will need to have a registration code provided by your institution.

The Mobile Application allows you to upload texts and files, creating information "Cards". This information is private to you, and in some cases your tutor. unless you specifically choose to publish Cards as Card Decks.
